PADI Underwater Naturalist - Fresh Water
This course is designed to be an introduction to the underwater aquatic fresh water environment and to help you develop safe and responsible interaction with aquatic life found in and around the Great Lakes and Inland lakes of Michigan.
This course is an introduction to fresh water aquatic life including an overview of responsible human interactions with aquatic life found in the lakes, rivers and streams of Michigan.During then Underwater Naturalist course, you will learn the following, the planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of diving in different fresh water aquatic environments, a basic overview of major aquatic life groupings (kingdoms and phyla,)factual information that dispels myths of fresh water aquatic life, an overview of basic aquatic life interactions and associations, responsible human interactions with aquatic life, diving technique used to help preserve bottom dwelling aquatic life and minimize aquatic life disturbance.
